Another example of how the pandemic shut-down is going to cause repercussions for generations to come.
The problems isn’t just a fiscal one, now a generation of drop-outs exist because we shut everything off, we can’t get kids back in school, or provide basic requirements to families of virtual students.
I’m hearing more information every day that shows how lazy our country has become. It’s become easier to sit at home and collect hand-outs from the government in the form of welfare or stimmy checks rather than going to work. People will always take the path of least resistance when given the option. Unfortunately, that’s not what it takes to make a great country. It takes hard-work, sacrifice, blood, sweat, and tears other things. You have to work hard to make things good and unfortunately, no one wants to put the work in anymore.
Oh, and I glossed over the comments from the Chicago evades school district where teachers are claiming that going back to the classrooms is racist because I’m sick of everything being about race. It’s not always about race. We’re all part of the human race anyway; I feel like racism is a misnomer. Either way, I’m sick of hearing about it and I’m sick of being accused I’m racist just because I’m white. Were all human beings. Let’s try to treat each other with a bit of humanity.
