This afternoon, I walked into the local convenience store to get something to drink on my way home. I didn’t wear a mask.

Guess what? Nothing happened.
No one said anything. No one died. No one got sick. No one told me I couldn’t be there. I got my drink and left.
On the way home, I heard on the radio that it’s okay for people to not wear masks outside if they’re vaccinated. I didn’t realize that wearing masks outside was a requirement. I can see that maybe if I was outside with large groups of other people, but walking outside by myself or with my family? Not gonna happen.
I’m just about over this whole thing. I’m about to burn my mask like it was a bra in the 1960’s.
I firmly believe that the government wants to prolong the fear that covid-19 brought with it. If they maintain the fear, they maintain control. I refuse to live in fear anymore.
Oh, and please stop asking other people if they’re vaccinated. That is none of your business. The only people who need to know is that person and and their doctor. Also, please stop posting selfies with your vaccination card. Not only is that dangerous, it’s just dumb.
If we’re vaccinated (and I’m not admitting or denying that I am), we shouldn’t have to wear a mask anymore, anywhere, ever.
What do you think?
