We turned our first pens today. I may have created a monster! After we were done, Sarah disappeared and when I asked where she went, Austin and Adrianne said, “upstairs”. Truth was, she went back to the garage and got her second set of wood blanks on the lathe and started turning them. 😆
I managed to take a few pictures as I made my pen along with the final product:
Now Austin wants me to teach him how to turn a pen. 😆

Now that at we’ve found we enjoy doing it, and it’s not an incredibly difficult task, what are we going to do with all of them? The kit I ordered had enough supplies in it for 40 pens and pencils. Maybe we could give them as gifts or sell them?
