I’m a 44-year-old guy orginially from central Pennsylvania who joined the Navy at age 18, served on active duty for 23 years, and wound up as a Master Chief Petty Officer and a TOPGUN Air Intercept Controller Supervisor. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. I retired from active duty to Virginia where I live with my wife and our animals. I’m currently working as a government contractor supporting the U.S. Navy.
I’m a social scientist, an amateur parts/props maker, a science-fiction/fantasy junkie, a writer, a collector of typewriters, a woodworker, and occasionally a home brewer. Even with all those titles and accomplishments, at the end of the day, I’m just a guy trying to do the best that I can to figure out this thing called life, the universe, and everything.
