It’s getting close

Besides the fact that I’m a nervous wreck right now and have been for the last few weeks, because of our pending move, I’m also excited about going on vacation in ten days.

We’re headed to the last frontier, Alaska.

We’ve spent the better part of the last year paying for our trip, the excursions, the flights, the hotels, the rental car, and the other things required to visit Seward’s Folly that we haven’t had much time to be excited about it. We’re trying to change that.

We’ve been watching YouTube videos about cruises to Alaska; what to take, what not to take, what tips and tricks people use, what things to see, what not to see, what to watch out for, and what to pack. We’ve binge watched the first four seasons of Port Protection and a smattering of episodes from Deadliest Catch in an attempt to get psyched up for the trip.
