When I was a kid, if something we did wound it’s way up in the newspaper, someone usually clipped it out for me and I could save it in a scrap book. Now that “print is dead” (Spengler, 1984), I thought I’d try to capture some of my kids’ moments from the internet and put them here on the family blog so that they have it as a reference and we can go back to it. Also, it’s nice because we can share it with more than just ourselves. All anyone has to do is point their web browser to our url and watch the embedded YouTube video.
According to Sarah’s interview that I happened to just fall across this morning while perusing the local digital newspaper, go hard or go home. I wonder who she was referring to as old and wrinkly? I hope she meant David Brinkley and not me or her Mom. [sighs] Kids…
By the way. I don’t think David Brinkley was very wrinkly. I always confused him with another actor whose name escapes me right now. I can see his face but I can’t recall his name. There are a lot of other famous people that fit into the category of worn and wrinkly better than David Brinkley, but I guess those are the lyrics that worked.
