Yesterday, Grandpa Joe said, “[there’s] no federal solution” to COVID-19, “This gets solved at the state level”. That’s really interesting considering that Joey ran on the promise that he was going to end the pandemic. I guess he’s finally throwing in the towel and going to let the states govern themsleves.
If this is true; if he actually believes there is no federal solution and this gets solved at the state level and if he didn’t say something he wasn’t supposed to say, he should pull back on all the federal mandates that force vaccination, mask-wearing, and social distancing. Will that happen? Probably not. I don’t believe that Joey is a man of his word.
People who are both busier and more important that I am are calling Joey out on his statement as well. Govenor Kristi Noem and Senator Tom Cotton are pressuring Joey for a pull-back of the unconstitutional federal mandates he’s attempting to implement. Senator Cotton and I both agree that Joey is just trying to shunt the blame of his incompetence and won’t actually dial-back his attack on our freedom.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Cue Evil Peppermint Patty to spin this in a way that saves face and fits in-line with the current narrative. If you believe this administration has your best interestes at heart, you’re living in a mirror universe.
