Today, someone attacked me online for making a joke on social media. I don’t think it was that big of a deal, but apparently, this person was seriously offended by what I wrote. Then again, someone laughed at it, so someone found it funny.

Then, this person decides to go full-on-creeper on my profile and says I’m a fake OS. Yep, so many people claim to be in the Navy as an OS, but they’re really just faking it. I wrote back, but I tried my hardest not to engage the individual with hurt feelings.

Then, one of my Sailors rushed to my rescue, not that I needed it. It was still funny though.

This is one of the reasons I left social media a few months back. I’ve been playing around with it again for something to do, but this reminds me that either the stuff posted on Zucker-web or Twit-space will either offend someone with snowflake-like tendencies, or, the oligarchs will swoop in and censor you because your thoughts don’t jive with the narrative they’re supporting.

I checked back in later, this individual started complaining to the group admins saying that people shouldn’t be allowed to join the group unless they graduated from OS “A” school. Whatever dude!

In the end, I just walked away from the computer and went to lunch with my co-workers. There are more important things to do besides piss off the leftists; even if it was unintentional.
