I started a new project tonight. I got so wrapped up in it and was having fun working on it that I didn’t realize what time it was. It’s now after 10pm here. 😜
I already had the lumber laying about in the workshop, so I dove in head-first and started cutting it to size with the miter saw and then I glued and assembled the frame.
I’m really enjoying this woodworking hobby I’ve picked up. I think this is something I could do for a long time. Most hobbies I pick up only last a short time before they go in the corner and collect dust. With woodworking, I get to make my own dust, or as I prefer to call it, Man-glitter.
Tomorrow I’ll add some cleats, a shelf, and slats. Then, I’ll sand it and add a finish to it and it will be finished. That should give me enough time to put together a character for the DND group that is playing on Sunday. Look at me, enjoying hobbies where I make things and friending. 😜

After this project, I’ll have to catch up on a few things that I’ve been promising to make for friends and family. Some of the things I make are on sale on my Etsy page: Flourish and Flair
