I recently learned that some people think the Corona Virus pandemic is a conspiracy theory.

some people believe that it has something to do with the election in November rather than being about the health and well-being of our society.

I’m not one for conspiracy theories. I take things at face-value as they are presented. Some might consider me naieve or gullible for being this way. At the end of the day, I have to believe the things that are put in front of me. Reading into things, looking for some sinister or insidious alterior motive holds no pleasure for me. It must be exhausting to think that way. To have to analyze every excrutiating detail looking for the words between words and thinking about what is not being said rather than what is being said. I don’t think I could live like that.

My biggest question is this, what would these sinister powers that be stand to gain from all of us staying home and wearing masks when we have to go out in public? I can’t imagine a single thing that any one person or a group of people would beenfit from all of us cozied up on the couch at home with our loved-ones.

What do you think? Is it all a conspiracy? Is there some sinister plot being unfurled around us while we stay in self-isolation and practice social-distancing? Or is there really a health pandemic and what we’re doing is for the greater good? Let me know in the comments below.
