I was sitting at the table practicing my calligraphy drills and I thought it would be fun to video them.

That turned into the idea of making a YouTube-esque video with editing, music, fast-forwarding through the dull bits, titles, and pop-up comments as I went along.

This is my first attempt at any type of video editing, but I think it turned out pretty good.

Of course it needs some fine-tuning and I’m not trying to be the next big YouTube star. I’m far too ugly for that.

But, please take a look and let me know what you think. It’s nothing special, just me sitting at the table practicing calligraphy drills and recording myself. It’s not a how-to, it’s not anything other than an exploration of what is possible and a personal realization that creating things is far easier than expected.
