This actually happened today…

They were fixing the elevator at work and as I walked by, the technician looked up and said, “hello”.

“Hi,” I replied, “how’s the elevator business treating you?”

“Meh, it’s got its ups and downs.” He answered.

I love people that don’t take themselves too seriously! You sir, are killing it! Keep it up, and not just the elevator either! 🤣
