Today, I did my first bit of routing.
I was hanging a new interior door for Sarah and had to rout out the bit where the hinges go.
After a quick check on YouTube and a run to Lowe’s, I picked up the accessory and bits I needed for the Dremel tool I own to turn it into a plunger router.
Here’s what it looked like after routing.

I wouldn’t want to do anything bigger than a door hinge with it. It did a fair job for what I needed, but anything bigger would require an actual router.
Long story short, I got the door hung. Now all it needs is a bit of sanding near the top for a smoother close and a fresh coat of paint.
It feels good to accomplish things you didn’t know how to do when you started out.
